Welcome to our website of fascinating Burmese opium weights.
The majority of sellers of these opium weights are based either in Burma or Thailand, we happen to be based in the latter. What we have on offer is an extensive collection of genuine Burmese opium weights for sale, which are sure to appeal to a wide variety of customers due to their rarity and the beauty and fineness of their craftsmanship.
All the opium weights shown on our website are a family inheritance, as are other antiques on our website, such as Asian porcelain, ceramics, and religious items like amulets and statuettes etc.
We, the website owners, are two young Thai lady students with limited English language skills, but we are able to speak English to a certain degree and do have some help from native English speakers.
You will find some information about opium weights under the “button” general information on the first page. Generally, opium weights are regarded as highly sought after antique collectors’ items, but also make ideal gifts for that special person or as decorative items for the home, as well as making excellent paper weights.
We hope that you like our website and appreciate all the trouble we have taken to assemble, photograph and show the collection of opium weights and that you will choose to buy from us.
With best regards from Thailand,
Sunisa and Dao
